Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has hit out at the officials following his side's 2-2 draw with Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
The champions took the lead at the Etihad Stadium through Edin Dzeko before Daniel Sturridge levelled for the visitors.
Steven Gerrard then put Liverpool ahead, but Sergio Aguero salvaged a point for the home side late on.
However, Mancini believes that play should have been stopped in the buildup to Sturridge's goal due to a foul by Daniel Agger on Dzeko.
"Before their first goal there was a big fault, if it happened against us it would be a red card but instead the referee didn't see anything," Mancini told BBC Sport. "But in the end I feel that was the right result.
The draw has seen City slip nine points behind league leaders Manchester United.
