Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah has equalled a personal goalscoring record with his eye-catching goal against Manchester City in Sunday's Premier League clash.
The Reds struggled for attacking inspiration in the first half before coming into life after half time, with Sadio Mane opening the scoring before Phil Foden levelled not long after.
However, with 76 minutes on the clock, Salah weaved his way through a sea of blue shirts on the right-hand side before giving Aymeric Laporte the slip and firing home past Ederson.
Salah's strike on the day represented the seventh game in a row that he had scored for Liverpool in all competitions, which saw him equal his previous hot streak of seven goalscoring games in April 2018.
However, the day ultimately ended in a frustrating manner for Liverpool and Salah, who saw Kevin De Bruyne equalise in the 81st minute during a pulsating 2-2 draw.
The result leaves the Reds second in the table with 15 points from their opening seven matches, one point ahead of City and one below leaders Chelsea. body check tags ::
