Former Liverpool striker David Ngog has admitted that he is happy to have joined an ambitious club like Bolton Wanderers.
The Frenchman, who had been linked with the Wanderers for much of the summer, arrived at the Reebok Stadium on transfer deadline day after agreeing a three-year deal at the club.
"It's a great pleasure to be here and to be a Bolton player," he told the club's official website. "The club has been constantly improving over the last few years, and I'm happy to be a part of that.
"I will try my best to add something extra to the team and bring my experiences with Liverpool to the club."
The 22-year-old added that he wants to be on the pitch as much as possible in order to show Bolton what he is capable of, after seeing limited opportunities at Anfield.
"The gaffer makes the decisions on who plays and I respect that. I'm ambitious and want to be on the pitch every week and show what I'm capable of," he explained.
"I'm a striker and I want to score goals. But I'm not judging myself on goals because it's all about the team winning. I think this group can do something good this year."
Ngog is to be officially unveiled as a Bolton player on Monday, alongside Dedryck Boyata and Gael Kakuta.
