Brendan Rodgers is confident that he can guide Liverpool to Premier League glory in the future.
The Northern Irishman came close to winning the club's 19th league title last season, but they fell at the final hurdle and finished two points behind eventual champions Manchester City.
In this campaign, the Reds have struggled to maintain a surge at the top and they are in danger of finishing outside of the Champions League spots as they currently reside seven points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester United.
In Monday's press conference, when asked if he can end Liverpool's title drought, Rodgers said: "Absolutely. When I came in here it was a long way off. The club was eighth and you'd never have even talked about it.
"It's a mark of how the club has moved forward that there's such disappointment we weren't challenging this year. Of course it's been disappointing not to have had a challenge, but we have great hope we can really push on again. I have absolutely no doubt it will happen."
Tonight, the Reds will take on Hull City at the KC Stadium.
