Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes that new signing Fabio Borini has slotted well into the Reds' set-up.
The midfielder, who moved to Merseyside from Roma last month, netted his first goal for the Premier League outfit on his Anfield debut in the Reds' 3-0 win over FC Gomel in the second leg of the Europa League third-round qualifier.
"He's an intelligent boy and a good kid," Rodgers told the club's official website. "He is fitting in very well and I thought he took his goal brilliantly as it was a difficult finish.
"He's only 21 years of age and he's still got a lot of improvements to make but his work rate and his ability to press the ball was excellent.
"He'll fit into our team very well. You can see that he links well with players, especially Steven Gerrard. They have got a good relationship both on and off the pitch. I thought he did very well along with all the others in the team."
Steven Gerrard and Glen Johnson rounded off the victory for Liverpool last night.
