Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has revealed that he will sign a contract extension at the end of the season.
Despite guiding the Reds to the brink of the Premier League title this season, some speculation has mounted over the Northern Irishman's future at Anfield having failed to extend his existing deal, which expires next summer.
However, Rodgers was unequivocal in his belief that he will put pen to paper and prolong his stay on Merseyside in the near future.
"There is nothing really until the end of the season, but there is no doubt that at some point we will agree another deal," the 41-year-old told reporters. "I am sure of that."
Liverpool can take a giant step toward a first league title in 24 years by beating Chelsea at home on Sunday.
