Brendan Rodgers has claimed that his Liverpool side are slowly recapturing their best form after beating Bournemouth 3-1 on Wednesday.
Raheem Sterling struck twice as the Reds beat the Championship club to move into the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup.
Victory represented a much-needed tonic for Rodgers's side, who lost 3-0 to Manchester United and bowed out of the Champions League over the past week.
"We're starting to see signs of getting back to where we were," the Northern Irishman told reporters.
"We know there is a way to go but this was a tough game coming here so for us to come and dominate like we did, and score the goals that we did, was very pleasing."
The Anfield club face Premier League leaders Chelsea in the last-four stage of the League Cup - a two-legged affair - while Tottenham Hotspur will battle Sheffield United for a place at Wembley.
