England manager Roy Hodgson is reportedly considering a call-up for Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey.
The former West Bromwich Albion boss is believed to have been impressed by the 20-year-old, who has just completed a three-match ban after getting sent off against Manchester United last month.
Shelvey is expected to be called into Stuart Pearce's Under-21 team for their European Championship playoff second leg against Serbia next Tuesday, according to The Express.
Meanwhile, reports have claimed that Chelsea full-back Ryan Bertrand will be called into the senior squad due to a thigh problem with Arsenal's Kieran Gibbs.
