Aidy Ward has dismissed comments made by Jamie Carragher over the future of his client Raheem Sterling as 'irrelevant', while also branding the Liverpool legend as "a knob".
The former Reds defender questioned how the wantaway winger could show his face in training after seemingly attempting to push through a move away from Anfield this summer.
However, Ward has now hit out at one of the club's most respected players, telling the London Evening Standard: "Carragher is a knob. Everybody knows it.
"Any of the criticism from current pundits or ex-Liverpool players - none of them things matter to me. It is not relevant."
Ward also revealed that Sterling will "definitely not" pen a contract extension at Liverpool this summer, regardless of the money that he is offered by the club.
