Daniel Sturridge is reportedly ready to sign a new Liverpool contract, having returned to form this season.
Sturridge only made six Premier League appearances for the Reds last term, and his career with the Merseyside giants looked to be over when he joined West Bromwich Albion on loan in January.
The Englishman has forced his way back into Jurgen Klopp's plans this season, however, scoring four goals in nine appearances in all competitions despite not yet starting a Premier League game.
Sturridge's current deal with Liverpool will expire at the end of the season, but according to The Sun, the striker could land a £140,000-a-week contract extension, with the terms to be structured on his appearances.
The 29-year-old has scored 68 goals in 142 appearances for Liverpool since a 2013 move from Chelsea.
