Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner: 'Liverpool are vulnerable right now'

Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner says that Tuesday's Premier League opponents Liverpool are "vulnerable" right now.

Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner has insisted that his team "absolutely" have a chance against Liverpool on Tuesday night.

The Merseyside outfit's 14-game unbeaten run in the Premier League came to an end, and recent results have not been going their way.

The team have lost their last two games in all competitions, and they face a Huddersfield team that are trying to claim their first victory in six matches.

Wagner and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp have a friendship off the pitch, but the former has insisted that he will focus solely on inspiring his team to a win at the John Smith's Stadium.

"Liverpool have lost two games in a row. They look vulnerable at the minute," the Daily Mail quotes the Huddersfield boss as saying. "Does it mean we will be successful? No. Does it mean we have a chance? Absolutely.

"We have in every game, especially here at the John Smith's Stadium, and if there's a chance we will be there to grab it with both hands."

The meeting between the two clubs at Anfield in October ended in a 3-0 triumph for the Reds.
