Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be without number one goalkeeper Alisson Becker for Saturday's Community Shield showdown with Manchester City at the King Power Stadium.
The Brazilian has been hampered by an abdominal issue over the summer and is joined in the treatment room by the likes of Calvin Ramsay, Diogo Jota, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Caoimhin Kelleher and Kostas Tsimikas.
Should Kelleher also fail to declare himself fit for the contest, Klopp would therefore place his faith in veteran Spaniard Adrian for the 100th Community Shield.
The Reds boss understandably fielded a second-string XI for the recent defeat to Red Bull Salzburg and should welcome Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson back to the rearguard here.
Ibrahima Konate started against Salzburg as Joel Matip warmed the bench, so the latter could therefore be elected to partner Van Dijk at the King Power.
Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara are all refreshed and ready to go, while Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz are shoo-ins to start on the flanks.
Roberto Firmino has emerged as a transfer target for Juventus in recent days, but his experience in big games such as Saturday's gives him the edge over new signing Darwin Nunez.
Liverpool will welcome Strasbourg to Anfield for a friendly 24 hours after the Community Shield, but Klopp will certainly put his big-hitters out for the clash with City.
Liverpool possible starting lineup: Adrian; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago; Salah, Firmino, Diaz
