Liverpool striker Luis Suarez reportedly wants the help of the Uruguayan government as he pleads his innocence over the racism allegations from Manchester United's Patrice Evra.
The Uruguay Football Association have agreed to approach the Uruguay Embassy in London on behalf of the former Ajax frontman, according to the Daily Star.
The 24-year-old was charged by the English FA earlier this week for targeting alleged racist remarks towards the Red Devils defender.
The striker arrived back in Merseyside yesterday and boss Kenny Dalglish has stated that the club are fully behind the Copa America winner.
