Liverpool have comfortably seen off Fulham in their Premier League match this afternoon, running out 4-0 winners over the Cottagers.
The hosts took the lead after just eight minutes when Steven Gerrard's corner fell to Martin Skrtel, allowing the defender to unleash a powerful volley past Mark Schwarzer.
Daniel Agger should have doubled the lead in the 24th minute having been found by Luis Suarez, but the Danish defender fired over despite having most of the goal open to aim at.
The Reds did grab a second 10 minutes later, however, when Steven Gerrard latched on to a Stewart Downing pass and finished off a good team move.
Liverpool made it 3-0 five minutes after the restart when Downing cut in from the right flank before firing past Schwarzer.
Downing almost got a second with just over 20 minutes left of the half when his powerful effort from 25 yards looked goalbound, but it just fizzed past the post.
Gerrard came close to extending his side's lead even further in the 78th minute when the ball fell to him, but the Liverpool skipper saw his effort saved by Schwarzer.
The Reds did eventually put the icing on the cake in the 91st minute when Suarez provided a fine finish having been found by Jose Enrique.
