Liverpool are without first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker for Saturday's Premier League clash with Burnley at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp did not mention an injury for the Brazilian in his pre-game press conference, but he is one of a few players to have been affected by a bout of flu making its way through the Reds' squad.

As such, Caoimhin Kelleher comes in for just his third Premier League appearance and is one of five changes for the hosts, who include Jarell Quansah in place of the suspended Ibrahima Konate in defence.

Andrew Robertson is given the nod over the ill Joe Gomez at left-back, and Wataru Endo is also brought straight back into the starting XI following Japan's exit from the Asian Cup, demoting Ryan Gravenberch to the bench.

Finally, Darwin Nunez - who was only fit enough for a substitute role against Arsenal due to a foot injury - is passed fit to come back into the attacking line, forcing Cody Gakpo to accept a spot among the replacements.

As for Burnley, Vincent Kompany has made three alterations to the side from their 2-2 draw with Fulham last weekend, as Chelsea-owned David Datro Fofana unsurprisingly comes in for a start after his brace off the bench versus the Cottagers.

Montpellier HSC loanee Maxime Esteve also makes his first start in defence, where Hannes Delcroix is also promoted to the XI as Vitinho and Hjalmar Ekdal drop to the bench.

Liverpool: Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Van Dijk, Robertson; Jones, Endo, Mac Allister; Jota, Nunez, Diaz
Subs: Adrian, Mrozek, Gakpo, Elliott, Tsimikas, Gravenberch, Clark, McConnell, Koumas

Burnley: Trafford; Assignon, O'Shea, Esteve, Delcroix; Ramsey, Berge, Brownhill, Odobert; Datro Fofana, Amdouni
Subs: Muric, Cork, Rodriguez, Benson, Ekdal, Vitinho, Cullen, Bruun Larsen, Massengo
