Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has insisted that his future is in the club's hands.
The centre-back is believed to be a transfer target of Manchester City this summer, while Barcelona are also said to be monitoring his situation closely.
Speculation grew yesterday when he was left out of the Liverpool squad that took on Bayer Leverkusen in a pre-season friendly yesterday afternoon.
However, while revealing that he would "prefer" to stay at Anfield, the 27-year-old has revealed that he would not be keen on turning out for another Premier League club.
"No, I haven't heard anything," Agger told Ekstra Bladet. "That is how the club wants to do it. I would prefer to stay.
"I can't imagine playing for other clubs in England. But, you never know if the club prefers to sell me."
Agger joined the Reds in 2006 from Danish side Brondby.
