Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio has insisted that he is "very focused" on the World Cup and is not concerned about ongoing links with a move to Liverpool.
The 22-year-old has been involved in all three of Spain's group-stage matches in Russia, accumulating 55 minutes on the field through substitute appearances.
Asensio has had to contend with repeated rumours regarding his club future during his time in the Spain camp, with Mundo Deportivo reporting at the weekend that a £150m bid could be tabled by Liverpool.
Asked about the rumoured interest from the Reds, however, the former Mallorca ace stressed that he will not let the speculation affect his performances on the big stage.
"That's something in the news but I'm very focused in the World Cup," he told reporters. "When it ends, we can talk about that kind of thing. I'm very focused here in Russia, on the national team and performing well here."
Asensio scored seven goals and assisted seven more in 44 La Liga and Champions League appearances for Madrid last season.
