Newcastle United striker Demba Ba could be involved in a swap deal with Liverpool forward Andy Carroll at the end of the season.
Ba is ready to quit the Sports Direct Arena in May, according to The Mirror.
It was recently revealed that the Senegal international has a £7m buyout clause on his current deal with the North East club.
The 26-year-old's departure could trigger Carroll's return back to Tyneside following a disappointing first season at Anfield.
