Bayern Munich 'eye cut-price fee for Leroy Sane'

:Headline: Bayern Munich 'eye cut-price fee for Leroy Sane':
Bayern Munich reportedly hope to sign Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane in a cut-price deal this summer.

Bayern Munich are reportedly hopeful of signing Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane 'on the cheap'.

The German champions were strongly linked with Sane last summer, but a proposed move to the Allianz Arena broke down when the attacker suffered a serious knee injury in the Community Shield against Liverpool.

Sane is closing in on a return to full fitness, though, and the speculation surrounding the former Schalke 04 youngster's future continues to gather pace.

The 24-year-old's current deal at the Etihad Stadium will expire next summer, and according to the Manchester Evening News, Bayern feel that they could sign him for a cut-price fee ahead of next season.

The report claims that the Bundesliga outfit believe that the coronavirus pandemic will 'depress the football transfer market', making it easier for them to agree a smaller fee for the attacker.

Sane has scored 39 times and registered 45 assists in 134 appearances for the Citizens. body check tags ::
