Bologna could be set to launch a bid for Liverpool's out-of-favour Fabio Borini at the end of the season, according to reports.
The 23-year-old was linked with a move away from Anfield in January, but opted to stay and fight for his place in Brendan Rodgers's side.
However, he has continued to find first-team football hard to come by, and has now made just 23 league appearances since 2012.
Bologna, who were relegated from Serie A last season but currently sit second in Serie B, are now interested in bringing the striker back to Italy, reports The Express.
Borini scored nine goals in 24 appearances for Roma before making the switch to the Premier League two-and-a-half years ago.
