Liverpool have been told to forget about signing Keisuke Honda after CSKA Moscow's general manager insisted that the Japanese star is not for sale.
The Reds have been linked with a summer move for the 25-year-old, who has also caught the eye of Lazio boss Edoardo Reja.
However, CSKA general manager Roman Babaev has revealed that the midfielder remains a part of the club's plans for next season.
"CSKA Moscow has no intention of selling the player and he continues to be in our plans for the next season," said Babaev.
"It is normal for many foreign clubs to be interested but we do not want to negotiate at this time."
Honda moved to Russia from Dutch side VVV-Venlo in 2010.
