FC Twente striker Luuk de Jong has been the subject of interest from Premier League side Liverpool, according to his agent Marco de Marchi.
The 21-year-old frontman is believed to be a target of the Merseyside club, who could be in the market for a striker due to the Reds' constant frustrations in not finding the net.
While Liverpool are reportedly interested, the Netherlands international's agent has hinted that the forward could make the switch to one of the Reds' league rivals.
"I think something could happen in the summer, after the European Championship," De Marchi told calciomercato.com.
"I confirm that Liverpool like De Jong and not only them. There are several English and German clubs who follow him, but no-one has made real steps with Twente. I can confirm that Luuk has a huge market in Italy, several clubs have called me to test the waters."
Reports have suggested that the Dutch club are looking for a bid in the region of £10m for the striker.
