Hamburg coach Thorsten Fink has admitted that Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt is a "class" footballer.
Kuyt, 31, is expected to depart Anfield at the end of the season, with Hamburg emerging as strong contenders for the Dutchman.
"He has class, and he is also a fighter. There is nothing more that needs to be said about the quality of the player. Whether this is something we feel we want to commit to, we will see," Fink told www.kicker.de.
Kuyt has scored five goals for Liverpool this season.
