Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has reportedly decided to send Jordan Ibe to Bolton Wanderers on a season-long loan deal.
The 18-year-old is unlikely to see much first-team action at Anfield due to the summer arrivals of fellow attacking midfielders Adam Lallana and Lazar Markovic.
According to The Mirror, Bolton boss Dougie Freedman has been eager to sign Ibe throughout the transfer window, and has rejected the opportunity to pursue other targets in the hope that the Liverpool youngster would be available.
The report suggests that Ibe could complete his temporary move to Bolton on Wednesday, meaning that he would be available for Saturday's meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Ibe was an unused substitute as Liverpool started their Premier League campaign with a 2-1 win over Southampton on Sunday.
