Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius is facing an uncertain future at Anfield after terminating his contract with Turkish side Besiktas, according to the player's agent.
The German joined the Super Lig side on a two-year loan deal in 2018 but recently cut short his stay in Turkey over a dispute regarding unpaid wages.
Karius has not appeared for parent club Liverpool since the 2018 Champions League final, and the goalkeeper's agent Florian Goll has admitted that discussions have not taken place regarding Karius's next career move.
Speaking to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Goll said: "Karius is still 26 and has a great career ahead of him. He is now returning to Liverpool where he still has two years of the contract.
"We haven't discussed what we will do in the future. Let's see what will happen."
Karius kept eight clean sheets in 25 top-flight matches for Besiktas during the 2019-20 campaign.
