Leicester City are reportedly at the head of the queue for Schalke 04 centre-back Ozan Kabak.
The 21-year-old spent the second half of the 2020-21 campaign on loan at Liverpool, making 13 appearances in all competitions, but the Reds decided against signing him on a permanent deal.
Kabak is expected to leave Schalke during this summer's transfer window, with the German outfit believed to have placed a €15m (£12.8m) asking price on the Turkey international.
According to SPORT1 journalist Patrick Berger, Leicester are leading the race for the centre-back, although the Foxes are yet to submit an official offer for his services.
Kabak made nine Premier League appearances for Liverpool last season, while he also featured on four occasions in the Champions League against RB Leipzig and Real Madrid.
The defender started his professional career with Galatasaray before joining Stuttgart, where he spent just six months ahead of a switch to Schalke. body check tags ::
