Liverpool reportedly have 'no plans' to move for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes this summer.
Fernandes enjoyed an excellent 2018-19 campaign, scoring 32 times and contributing 18 assists in 53 appearances in all competitions for his Portuguese club.
Earlier this week, it was reported that the Reds had made a £40m offer for the Portugal international in the hope of beating the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur to his signature.
However, according to the Evening Standard, Jurgen Klopp's side are not interested in a summer swoop for the attacking midfielder.
Fernandes has a contract at the Estadio Jose Alvalade until the summer of 2022, which places his club in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations.
Meanwhile, the Portuguese is believed to have an £86m release clause in his current deal with the Green and Whites.
