Liverpool have reportedly identified Real Sociedad defender Diego Llorente as a possible replacement for Dejan Lovren should the Croat leave the club this summer.
The Reds are understood to be open to offers for Lovren, who has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield with Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and arguably Joel Matip all now above him.
Liverpool are expected to only dip into the transfer market should a player leave the club this summer and, with Roma reportedly in contact with Lovren, they are considering potential centre-back targets.
Spanish outlet La Razon claims that Llorente is on their wish list, having impressed at Sociedad since joining the club from Real Madrid three years ago.
The 26-year-old's form has seen him earn five Spain caps, while he has scored seven goals in 77 first-team games for Sociedad.
Llorente has a release clause of around £40m, although Liverpool would hope to negotiate that down as they look to limit spending in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
