Roma are hoping to sign Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren for a cut-price fee of €5m (£4.41m), according to a report.
The Croatian centre-back has been continuously linked with a move away from Anfield as he approaches the final 12 months of his contract.
Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Roma are one of the clubs in the running to sign Lovren, and the Italian side are trying to land the 30-year-old on the cheap.
The Giallorossi will supposedly use their good relationship with Liverpool in their favour, having sold Alisson Becker and Mohamed Salah to the Reds in recent years.
Lovren, a £20m signing from Southampton in July 2014, has started a combined 12 games in the Premier League and Champions League this term.
