Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a move for Fiorentina attacker Federico Chiesa.
The 22-year-old came through the youth system with La Viola and has turned out on 126 occasions for the club since making his first-team debut in 2016.
This season, the Italy international has contributed two goals and four assists in 12 Serie A appearances, in addition to netting once in the Coppa Italia.
According to La Nazione, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of Chiesa's talents, and the Champions League holders are considering a bid either in January or at the end of the season.
The 17-time international will see his current deal at Stadio Artemio Franchi expire in the summer of 2022.
Liverpool's perceived lack of depth in the final third has been a big talking point over the last 12 months or so, and Xherdan Shaqiri's future at Anfield is believed to be far from secure, which could open up a spot in the squad for a new attacker.
