Anderlecht have entered the race to sign Liverpool target Marko Grujic from Red Star Belgrade in the upcoming transfer window.
Reports last week suggested that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp was looking to make the midfielder his first signing next month, with the 19-year-old confirming that he "had a talk" with the club.
According to Belgian newspaper Het Laaste Nieuws, Anderlecht sent scouts to watch Grujic in action during the 5-0 victory over Radnik Surdul on Saturday with a view to opening talks with the Serbian side.
Grujic, who is contracted to Belgrade until 2018 and has a price tag of around £3.6m, has scored five goals and provided six assists in 20 appearances this season.
