Liverpool are reportedly monitoring PSV Eindhoven forward Donyell Malen with the view to a potential bid.
The 20-year-old has been in impressive form for PSV during the 2019-20 campaign, finding the back of the net on 10 times in 13 appearances in all competitions.
Malen hit five in his team's league victory over Vitesse last weekend before scoring in Thursday's 3-2 win over Sporting Lisbon in the group stages of the Europa League.
According to Calciomercato, Liverpool have been watching the two-time Netherlands international ahead of a possible bid in next summer's transfer window.
Malen joined Arsenal from Ajax in 2015, and the Dutchman managed 27 goals during his youth career with the Gunners but left for PSV having failed to make a first-team appearance.
Liverpool lack competition for Roberto Firmino at centre-forward, with Danny Ings and Daniel Sturridge both leaving Anfield on a permanent basis during the recent transfer window.
