Liverpool are reportedly ready to reject any late offers for Luis Suarez as Real Madrid are linked with a last-ditch swoop for the wantaway striker.
The Spanish giants are allegedly planning to bankroll a bid for the Uruguayan with the £40m sale of Karim Benzema to Arsenal.
However, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is adamant that Suarez is not for sale because there is not enough time to recruit a replacement before the transfer window closes.
"I'm sure there will be plenty of activity in these last number of days [of the transfer window]. It is what it is, we will deal with it like we have during the summer," The Mirror quotes him as saying.
"If we lose Luis at this stage... there might have been a point a few months ago where there was time to do it, but with 11 days to go it would be difficult to replace him."
Earlier this week, Arsenal admitted defeat in their long-running pursuit of Suarez.
