Liverpool have reignited their interest in Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir, according to a report.
The Reds were on the brink of completing a £53m transfer for the France international last summer, only to pull out of the deal at the eleventh hour due to issues with his medical.
Fekir was even photographed in the club's kit before being informed that the move would not go through after all, reportedly after the discovery of a possible knee problem.
However, French outlet Le Progres claims that Liverpool are now ready to revive their interest, with Fekir having been promised a move away from Lyon this summer.
The 25-year-old went on to score 12 goals in 39 games for Lyon last season, having helped France to World Cup glory in 2018.
Fekir now has just 12 months remaining on his contract, meaning that Liverpool could land him for a significantly lower fee than the £53m they were prepared to pay last year.
