Liverpool could be in the market for a new backup goalkeeper if Adrian fails to commit to a new deal, according to a report.
The 34-year-old has deputised in between the sticks on three occasions in the Premier League this term - one of which was October's 7-2 thrashing at the hands of Aston Villa.
Adrian's deal at Anfield is due to expire at the end of the season, although the Reds are believed to have offered him fresh terms as they prepare to let Caoimhin Kelleher go out on loan next season.
However, should Adrian opt against extending his stay on Merseyside, the Daily Mail claims that Liverpool will step up their efforts to find a new deputy for Alisson Becker.
The report claims that Loris Karius - still on the books at Liverpool - is attracting interest from Stuttgart, while rumoured target Tom Heaton has supposedly agreed to join Manchester United.
Adrian's two other top-flight appearances this term came in October's 2-2 draw with Everton and February's 2-0 win at Sheffield United, and he has kept six clean sheets in 24 appearances for the club in total. body check tags ::
