Franck Kessie has insisted that he has no interest in leaving AC Milan during this summer's transfer window and wants to remain with the Italian giants "forever".
The 24-year-old, who is currently on international duty with Ivory Coast at the Tokyo Olympics, scored 14 times and registered six assists in 50 appearances for Milan during the 2020-21 campaign.
The midfielder's current deal at San Siro is due to expire next June, and a number of clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, have been linked with his services.
Kessie has seemingly ended the speculation surrounding his future, though, by revealing that he has no plans to leave the Serie A outfit.
"I want to stay at AC Milan forever. I'm proud of this club and I'm not planning to leave AC Milan, absolutely," Kessie told Gazzetta dello Sport.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Ivorian, who started his professional career with Atalanta BC, is in 'advanced talks' with I Rossoneri over a new deal.
