Liverpool are reportedly considering bringing an end to Nuri Sahin's loan spell with the club.
The Turkish international joined the Reds on a season-long loan basis from Spanish side Real Madrid during the summer.
However, under the terms of agreement between the two clubs, Liverpool are able to end the deal during the ongoing January transfer window.
That is an avenue that manager Brendan Rodgers is now exploring, having not started the 24-year-old in the Premier League since November, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The report has also claimed that Sahin's former club Borussia Dortmund would be willing for him to rejoin them on a six-month loan, with a view to a permanent transfer.
