Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren is reportedly on the verge of completing a £23m transfer to Roma this month.
Lovren has been told that he is free to leave Anfield this summer, with the Croatia international behind Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez in the defensive pecking order.
Reports throughout the summer have suggested that Lovren would complete a move to Serie A amid interest from Roma and AC Milan.
According to Calciomercato, Roma and Liverpool are moving closer to an agreement which would see the 30-year-old move to Italy for £23m.
Jurgen Klopp did not include Lovren in the squad for Liverpool's opening-day 4-1 win over Norwich City in the Premier League as the player edges closer to a move.
Lovren, who joined the Reds in 2014, only managed 13 Premier League appearances last season due to injury problems.
