Luis Diaz will reportedly earn £56,000 a week at Liverpool, with the Colombia international on the verge of joining the Premier League giants from Porto.

The Reds are thought to be closing in on the signing of the 25-year-old, who has scored 16 times and registered six assists in 28 appearances for his Portuguese club this season.

Diaz has allegedly agreed a five-year contract at Anfield and will undergo a medical this weekend while on international duty with Colombia.

According to SIC, the attacker will earn £56,000 a week at Liverpool, which is short of the pay packets currently collected by the likes of Adrian, Nat Phillips and Divock Origi.

Virgil van Dijk is thought to be the club's highest earner on £220,000 a week, while Mohamed Salah is said to earn in the region of £200,000 a week at Anfield.

Diaz - also linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United - has scored 41 goals and registered 19 assists in 125 appearances for Porto in all competitions.
