Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of completing the signing of Luis Diaz from Porto.
The Colombia international had allegedly emerged as a leading transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur last week, only for Liverpool to quickly move to the head of the queue for the versatile attacker.
The Reds are now said to be closing in on Diaz's signature, and according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the South American will pen a five-year contract with the Merseyside giants.
Romano claims that the 25-year-old has already agreed personal terms, with the two clubs working on the 'final details' before an announcement is made.
Diaz has been in impressive form for Porto during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 16 times and registering six assists in 28 appearances in all competitions.
The left-sided forward played twice against Liverpool in the group stage of this season's Champions League, while he netted twice against AC Milan in the competition this term.
The Premier League club will allegedly pay in the region of £50m for Diaz's signature, with the medical set to take place in Argentina this weekend.
