Atletico Madrid forward Luis Suarez is reportedly open to the idea of re-joining Liverpool this summer.

The 34-year-old joined Atletico from Barcelona last September and has been in excellent form for the capital giants this term, scoring 19 times in 32 appearances in all competitions.

Suarez's contract at Wanda Metropolitano is due to expire next June, though, and a recent report claimed that Liverpool want to re-sign the Uruguay international in the upcoming market.

According to TodoFichajes, the experienced striker has a 'difficult' relationship with Atletico boss Diego Simeone and has become 'physically drained' with the Argentine's style of football.

As a result, the report claims that Suarez would entertain talks with Liverpool this summer, although Inter Miami are also said to be keen to bring him to the MLS.

The South American scored 82 goals in 133 appearances for the Merseyside giants between 2011 and 2014 before leaving for Barca, where he spent six seasons. body check tags ::
