Kylian Mbappe has acknowledged that he will not spent the remainder of his career at Paris Saint-Germain.
Since representing the French giants since 2017, Mbappe has established himself as one of the greatest players in their history.
As well as winning 13 pieces of silverware, the France international has netted 238 goals in all competitions, becoming the club's highest-ever goalscorer.
Given his status on the world scene, Mbappe's future has been a constant hot topic for debate, particularly in recent years when Real Madrid have held a long-standing interest.
Mbappe has already rejected a lucrative move to the Santiago Bernabeu to extend his time at Parc des Princes, and speculation persists regarding a move this summer, a result of the attacker having less than six months left on his contract.
The 25-year-old has insisted that he is no rush to make a decision over his future, while the PSG hierarchy remain confident that they will be able to agree another contract with their star man.
However, speaking in an interview with GQ, Mbappe has confirmed that he has plans to take on a new challenge at some point in the future.
Mbappe said: "Many great players who have shaped the history of football have left Europe this summer and we are entering a new era.
"It's become part of the cycle of this sport and at some point it will be my turn to leave. I'm not worried about these changes. I'm simply thinking about continuing my career and following my own path."
For the time being, Mbappe is focused on trying to win his first Champions League trophy with PSG, who have been provided with a last-16 tie against Real Sociedad.
PSG also hold an eight-point advantage in the Ligue 1 standings as they bid to win the title for the sixth time in seven seasons.
Nevertheless, Liverpool are said to be monitoring the situation alongside Real as they each look to pull off what would be a blockbuster free transfer.
That said, Real allegedly have a self-imposed deadline in place, a consequence of missing out on Mbappe at the last minute in 2022. body check tags ::
