Norwich City have signed teenage attacker Sergi Canos from Liverpool on a four-year contract.
The 19-year-old, who made his Premier League debut on the final weekend of the 2015-16 campaign, has penned a contract with the Canaries until the summer of 2020.
It is understood that Canos rejected a new contract with Liverpool to sign for Norwich, who are currently preparing for a season back in the second tier of English football.
"Sergi has a good background having been at Barcelona before moving to Liverpool at a young age," Norwich boss Alex Neil told the club's official website.
"At Brentford last year he did really well. With Nathan Redmond leaving we wanted to replace him with someone exciting; someone who can dribble, can score goals and can provide assists. Hopefully Sergi can show everybody how good he can be."
Canos, who spent three years in Barcelona's La Masia system between 2010 and 2013, spent the majority of last season on loan with Brentford, scoring seven times in 39 Championship matches.
Norwich list the transfer figure as "undisclosed", but it is understood that the Canaries have paid an initial £2.5m, which could rise to £4.5m depending on performances.
