Trabzonspor teenager Abdulkadir Omur has branded Liverpool "a very important club" amid suggestions that the Reds have launched a £26.9m offer for the attacker.
Omur will not be 20 until June, but he has already made 56 first-team appearances for Trabzonspor, scoring six times and registering 10 assists in all competitions.
Tottenham Hotspur have previously been linked with a move for the attacker, but it was recently reported that Liverpool had made an offer of just shy of £27m.
Omur has opened the door on a move to Anfield, although the Turkey Under-21 international has insisted that he will not force a move away from Trabzonspor due to his respect for the club.
"Liverpool is a very important club, but the most important thing is Trabzonspor's interests," Omur told CNN Turk. "If my club tell me that I can go, I'll go and if they tell me to stay, I'll stay. We will see.
"My priority is Trabzonspor but I have a dream of playing in Europe. I hope I play there one day. My dream is to succeed here and then go to Europe."
Omur, who is capable of playing in a number of midfield positions, has managed two goals and four assists in 17 matches in all competitions for Trabzonspor during the 2018-19 campaign.
