Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has revealed that he doesn't think the club will sign Andy Carroll this summer.
Carroll's future has been the subject of much speculation throughout the transfer window, with Newcastle, West Ham United and AC Milan all reportedly interested in the Liverpool striker.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers has ruled out letting Carroll leave on loan, and a move back to Newcastle would be the striker's preferred option should he leave.
However, asked on Wednesday if the re-signing of Carroll was still a possibility, Pardew replied: "Not as far as I'm aware, no."
Newcastle's next Premier League match comes at home to Aston Villa on Sunday.
