Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Rui Patricio has refused to be drawn on speculation linking him with a move to Liverpool.
The Reds were said to be closing in on the 27-year-old, having reportedly discussed an £11m deal with the Portuguese club earlier this month.
However, Patricio insists that he is fully focused on the current task at hand with Sporting, with no decision yet to be made regarding his personal future.
"I only think day by day," the 36-time capped Portugal international is quoted as saying by The Express. "I've no huge plans for the future, I live one day at a time."
Current Liverpool number one Simon Mignolet is likely to remain in place at Anfield this summer, despite being dropped to the bench "indefinitely" by Brendan Rodgers last December.
