Liverpool are eyeing up a move for Porto's defensive midfielder Fernando Reges.
Manager Kenny Dalglish sees the 24-year-old as a replacement for the injured Lucas Leiva, according to the Daily Mail.
The Brazilian midfielder was ruled out for the rest of the season after he damaged anterior cruciate ligaments in his left knee against Chelsea last week.
Reges, who has also been linked with Chelsea, would reportedly cost the Anfield club £17m.
