Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly emerged as the frontrunners to sign Liverpool forward Sadio Mane this summer.

The 30-year-old's long-term future at Anfield has recently come into question as he is soon to enter the final year of his contract.

Bayern Munich are understood to have held talks with the player's agent, while Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the Senegal international.

However, German journalist Christian Falk claims that PSG would be the favourites to sign Mane, should the forward decide to leave Liverpool this summer.

Falk adds that the Ligue 1 champions hold a 'strong' interest in Mane, which is the reason why the forward is currently reluctant to extend his contract with the Reds.

Mane has been an integral figure in Jurgen Klopp's side this season, scoring 22 goals and providing five assists in 49 appearances across all competitions.
