Liverpool are reportedly bracing themselves for a transfer tug-of-war between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain for Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
The 25-year-old was desperate to join the Catalan giants during the summer, even handing in a transfer request late in the window in an attempt to force through a move.
Barca had three separate offers knocked back, the largest of which totalled £114m with add-ons, with Liverpool categorically ruling out a sale.
Coutinho is understood to still be on Barcelona's radar ahead of the January transfer window but, according to Spanish outlet Sport, PSG are now back in the running and will make an approach of their own.
The Parisians, who added Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to their squad for the 2017-18 campaign, are said to be willing to pay an estimated £135m to land a player who still has five years left to run on his existing deal.
