Queens Park Rangers are understood to be in talks over a move for Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole.
The 31-year-old is expected to leave Anfield in January as he continues to struggle to make an impact under manager Brendan Rodgers.
The Premier League's bottom-placed club could now land the former England international in the New Year, according to Sky Sports News.
Cole was left out of the Liverpool squad on Sunday as they beat QPR 3-0 at Loftus Road.
